Quick Gift Idea

Need a gift in a hurry? Something small? How about a couple of key tags with someone special’s photos on it? There are several ways you can do this. Upload photos to one of your favorite photo processing places and use their premade key tags but that may take some pre-planning and a bit more money than you had on hand. Another way is to take some of your favorite layouts and resize them to the size you want, print them off at home, glue them to some cardstock, use some clear laminate sheets that you can get at Wal-mart or your favorite crafting store to create a protective cover, trim, and punch a hole in the corner. Still takes a little pre-planning to have those things on hand but it would be so worth it.

I was thinking ahead and started to make up some key tags to have on hand (in my hard drive of course – lol) for some last minute gifts this month and I thought some of you might like the convenience of having some on hand to just add your photos, a bit of title work (or names/dates), and print off yourself. Template Challenge {FREEBIE}

Preparation

It seems like the whole month of April was one big preparation after another in my life. Now I’m waiting for results of the actions from all that preparing. Sounds ominous right? It doesn’t have to be.

Next weekend is {Inter}National Scrapbook Day. How are you preparing? Are you making a list of your favorite designers/kits that you “hope” to see on sale? Or are you organizing your stash so you can scrap all weekend long? How about making arrangement for the significant others in your life to be taken care of while you spend time with your hobby? Now, I know some of this may sound silly, but face it, many of us are quite involved on these special events.

As for me? Well I hope to get in on some scrapping fun but the month of May is super full with end of the school year activities for me both as a parent and a teacher. So I’ll have to just get in what extra fun I can and oooo and ahhh over all your fabulous creations!

This week I have one special ending, one beginning, and something going into the $2 Tuesday bin at STS. So keep your eye out on those!
